We approach a board the way we would a meal.
Flavor comes first. Then texture, color, season and balance. We choose ingredients because they belong together — not simply because they'll fill a space.
Our menus begin with produce and take their cues from California: what’s growing, what tastes good right now and the farmers, cheesemakers, bakers and producers doing exceptional work around us.
The result is food that feels abundant without being excessive, beautiful without being fussy, and just as considered on the palate as it is on the table.
